Hilary Returns!

I should have known this shoot would be an adventure when I went to pick up the hay–excuse me, straw–for the shoot. The lady at the nearby farm was very specific when I asked her for hay. She also kind of huffed at me when I told her it was for a photoshoot. Oh well, I got my straw and was happy.
Hilary is such a trooper. It was hot this day even though it was after 5 o’clock. The straw was itchy and I was short handed as everyone else was out. I wanted to diffuse the sun as it was pointing almost directly at Hilary without losing the golden tones. I couldn’t hold the reflector and shoot the picture at the same time so I had to improvise. I still think Hilary looks amazing and once again I think we got some good shots. Next time we’re thinking of shooting in the pool. That will definitely be a lot cooler for her!
I had forgotten about these pictures: they were from a few days before when Hilary had brought her friend Kim over. We couldn’t shoot with Kim, but I made sure to get some pictures of Hilary in the pool.
