Hilary Shoot

Everyone should be as happy-go-lucky as Hilary. She’s friends with Gina and thanks to word of mouth, I got to shoot with Hilary. We had both seen the same issue of FHM and liked some of the pictures in them. Using them as a guideline, we attempted to do our own versions. Some worked and unfortunately due to my limited experience, some didn’t. Still, Hilary was a trooper, especially when I threw her outside in the freezing rain in nothing but a wife-beater and jeans. I hate bras and tank tops, you can see the straps, the cups bunch, it just ruins the picture. Hilary went with the flow, even though I was freezing and I had on two layers! I love a trooper like that.
The funniest moment came when we were shooting the red bra pictures. We had Hilary on her side and the bra didn’t totally fit right. I was fiddling away with the camera controls and am about to push the button when my wife dives into the frame like a secret service agent. Apparently Hilary had popped out a little. I was so wrapped up in lighting and composition, I had no idea! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my wife move so fast!
Hilary is also on board for the patriotic pinups. Even though the project starts and stops frequently, it’s a project worth pursuing.
